Sailors

Synopsis. After a century, traditional lateenn-sailed boats retrace the route of the Sardinian sailors who transported galena by sea from the mines of Nebida, Masua, Fontanamare, Piscinas, Buggerru and Cala Domestica to the island of St. Pietro. Galanzieri is a tribute to a vanished world, that of the mines of the Iglesiente, and to a world that endures: the work of the traditional shipwrights, represented today in Carloforte by Tonino Sanna.
